It cuts through excess product buildup, heavy-metal deposits, and everyday oil, and it does so without stripping hair the way an everyday shampoo would. Because it's engineered specifically to open and prep the cuticle, it creates the ideal foundation for every NOYA professional treatment that follows. Stylists apply a small amount to damp hair, massage until it lathers, and leave it on for 60–90 seconds. For virgin hair, two washes do the job; for pre-lightened or damaged hair, two washes held for five minutes per section get the cuticle treatment-ready; and for henna-coated hair, three washes held for five minutes per section clear the coating completely. Once rinsed thoroughly, hair is primed and ready for the treatment step.
